317 girls were abducted from Zamfara school – Police

<p>Zamfara Police Commissioner, Abutu Yaro has confirmed the abduction of school girls from Government Girls Science Secondary School Jangebe in Jangebe, Zamfara State by armed bandits.</p>
<p>According to him, about 317 girls were abducted.</p>
<p>He added that the police force is making efforts to rescue the abducted students as there is an ongoing rescue operation in the locations where the students were believed to have been whisked to.</p>
