On the 19th of July, 2021, Organisers of Big Brother Naija reality TV show announced the official date season 6 will be aired on the TV screen.
A lot of Nigerians and viewers of the show have been anticipating for this good news. It is an official that the long anticipated Big Brother Naija season 6 is starting this weekend and it will be hosted by Ebuka Obi-Uchendu.
Ahead of the show, below are five things to you need to know about Big Brother Naija season 6:
1. The forthcoming reality TV show of season 6 will include a special double launch show on Saturday, July 24, and Sunday, July 25, 2021 and will air from 7 pm on DStv channel 198 and GOtv channel 29.
2. Voting process for this year’s season will no longer require the SMS voting. For this season 6, all voting will take place on the Big Brother Naija’s website as well as on the MyDStv and MyGOtv applications.
3. This year’s season 6 scheduled to run for 72 days, and from July 25, 2021 to on October 3, 2021.
4. Winner of the Big Brother Naija season 6 will take him the massive N90 million worth prize, way bigger than the previous editions(N85 million)
5. Now, Viewers in the United Kingdom can watch the event live on Showmax.
