In May 2022, Netflix released the trailer of it’s upcoming Nigerian movie titled “Glamour Girls” in collaboration with Play Network Studios, but the release date of the movie was not mentioned.

It has been confirmed that the movie, “Glamour Girls” will be released on June 24.

Glamour girls is a movie about a village girl. Responsible for taking care of her siblings Emmanuella is in desperate need of a job and she is swayed by a friend to get a job in Lagos.

This movie exposes the secrets about the lies behind the bling bling and the ching ching. The glamorous awaits you.

This movie is definitely star packed with amazing and talented actors such as; Sharon Ooja, Toke Makinwa, Nse Ikpem Etim, Joselyn Dumas, Segilola Ogidan, Teymesan Emmanuel, Uzor Arukwe and other amazing actors.

Watching the trailer of this movie, there seems to be a bit of representation from the iconic Nigerian movie JENIFER.

But it is certain that this movie is going to be worth your time. So the countdown to the 24th of June 2022 begins now.

This was made known to the public by the giant streaming platform on their Facebook page on Sunday, June 12th.

Announcing on their verified Instagram page, Netflix wrote in a statement below:

“It took 12 years to bring the first season of “Squid Game” to life last year. But it took 12 days for ‘Squid Game’ to become the most popular Netflix series ever.

“As the writer, director and producer of ‘Squid Game’, a huge shout out to fans around the world. Thank you for watching and loving our show.

“And now, Gi-hun returns. The front Man returns. season 2 is coming. The man in the the suit with ddakji might be back. You will also be introduced to Young-hee’s boyfriend, Cheol-su.”
