Instagram has deleted Whitemoney’s account, making the current Big Brother Naija Housemate lose more than 600 thousand followers on the social media platform.
As of time of filing this report, the reason for Instagram deleting his account has not been confirmed yet.
In Instagram’s ‘account disable policy’, the photo sharing app stated that: “We disable accounts that have a certain percentage of violating content. We are now rolling out a new policy where, in addition to removing accounts with a certain percentage of violating content, we will also remove accounts with a certain number of violations within a window of time.
“Similarly to how policies are enforced on Facebook, this change will allow us to enforce our policies more consistently and hold people accountable for what they post on Instagram.”
However, a new backup account has been created for Whitemoney. Quick check on the account by our correspondent shows that the account has about 70 thousands followers.
