The Nigerian Navy has revealed that naval personnel and online comedian, Abdulgafar Ahmad, popularly known as Cute Abiola will be punished for knowingly violating social media policy.

This was disclosed in an interview with Saturday Beats The Punch on Saturday morning, November 20th.
The spokesperson for the Nigerian Navy, Commodore Suleiman Dahun, said, “There is an armed forces social media policy that was promulgated by the defense headquarters, and its principal regulation is that military personnel should not post photos or videos of themselves in uniform while engaging in personal or official activities.
“Military personnel are also not allowed to make comments or share official military decisions, activities or operations on social media.
“They are also not allowed to forward materials on social media. Copies of the policy are available with the Director of Defense Information. It is not a restricted document, so it can be made available to anyone who needs it.”
Speaking on what Abiola did to warrant his punishment, Dahun said, “When we got the clip wherein he violated the policy, we asked him to come back to explain himself but he did not return.
“His commanding officer called him to explain himself concerning the video clip but he ignored his commander and didn’t return until his leave was over.
“When he returned, he was put in custody. If he had come back when he was called upon to explain himself, we would not be discussing this. We (the military) are not in an animal farm. We are human beings too but laws have to be obeyed.”
David Adeleke, the Afrobeats performer known as Davido, said he is Igbo by blood. The singer shot back at someone who warned him about being friendly with Igbo people, saying he could worry about betrayal as a Yoruba man.
The X user, Yakbel, said: “Davido just dey carry Ibo full body, until when dem betray am before e rest. Yoruba boy dey frolick with Ibos in 2025, they want your head and everything you have to belong to them. You can never satisfy Ibos. Ibos are not people you surround yourself with as a Yoruba man.”
Davido overlooked the criticism and just replied:
“Lol. My ancestors are from the Igbo people.”
Nigerian online streamer, Habeeb Hamzat popularly known as Peller has revealed he convinced his girlfriend, Jarvis, to turn down a ₦3 billion offer from Netflix since it required her to kiss someone during the show.
Peller mentioned this during a livestream with Peter Okoye from P-Square.
Peller said, “Netflix offered 3 billion Naira my girlfriend, Jarvis to do a kissing scene, but I turned it down.”
Peter asked, “Do you mean N3 million or N3 billion?”
Peller replied, “N3 billion! I know you might not believe me, but I have the record of the video call. I warned them never to contemplate such ever again. I love my baby. I don’t joke with my baby. She is my life.”
Peter added, “Always look out for her.”

Nigerian actor, Charles Okocha has paid a heartwarming visit to legendary actor Kanayo Kanayo ahead of his upcoming wedding.
