The Nigeria Center For Disease and Control (NCDC) has confirmed 397 new cases of COVID-19 in Nigeria.
This was made known to the public via its twitter page on Tuesday.
According to the health agency, Lagos had 144 new infections, followed by Plateau with 88 new infections. Kaduna had 48 new infections, Adamawa had 36 new infections and other states include Rivers – 22, Oyo – 16, Kebbi – 10, Nasarawa – 7, Sokoto – 7, FCT – 5, Kano – 5, Edo – 4, Jigawa – 3, Ogun – 2, Akwa Ibom – 2, Niger – 1, Bauchi – 1, Zamfara – 1.
Nigeria had so far recorded 84, 811 confirmed cases of COVID-19, 71, 357 patients discharged and 1264 deaths.
