Federal Government says the January 18 earlier date fixed for resumption of schools across Nigeria will be reviewed due to second wave of COVID-19 in the country.
This is coming after ASUU members stated that the Jan 18 date fixed for universities to reopen can’t work as they claim school is unsafe to reopen.
This was made known to the public by the Minister of Education, Adamu Adamu, during a press briefing by the Presidential Task Force on COVID-19 in Abuja, today.
Adamu said, “On the January 18 resumption date, we are reviewing it. We are going to review it.
“At the PTF meeting today, we considered it, and tomorrow, the ministry is going to take it up.”
