Nigerians are reacting to a recent publication of Grammy Awards describing Wizkid as Afrobeat giant.
Few hours ago, Grammy released a video telling the world “How Wizkid reshaped Afrobeats with his “Made In Lagos”.
The statement from the Grammy’s YouTube reads below:
“In this episode of For The Record, GRAMMY.com celebrates Wizkid’s 2020 album ‘Made in Lagos,’ which catapulted the Afrobeats giant further into the pop music conversation while elevating his hometown in Nigeria.
