The Presidential Inaugural Committee has on Thursday announced that Jennifer Lopez and Lady Gaga will be performing at the swearing-in for US President-elect Biden and Vice President-elect Kamala Harris on January 20.
The Presidential Inaugural Committee added that several celebrities and community leaders will join Biden at the U.S. Capitol on Wednesday.
Lady Gaga, who one-of-a kind artist, performer, and trailblazer in beauty and fashion, has been tapped to sing the National Anthem.
Jennifer Lopez who is one of the most influential Latin artists in the country, will also perform.
Also included in the ceremony:
Amanda Gorman, who is named first-ever National Youth Poet Laureate by UrbanWord and the Library of Congress will lead the poetry reading.
Andrea Hall, an International Association of Fire Fighters local chapter president will read the Pledge of Allegiance.
In addition, Jesuit Catholic priest and friend of the Biden family, Father Leo J. O’Donovan will lead the invocation, while Rev. Dr. Silvester Beaman, pastor of Bethel African Methodist Episcopal Church, will lead the benediction.
