US Vice President Kamala Harris is set to move into Naval Observatory in northwestern Washington, D.C., a home occupied by her predecessors for more than four decades, according to reports.
Harris who was on Wednesday, January 20th sworn in as vice president, will live in a three-story home, built-in 1894.
The house is made of brick and wood, with green shutters and a partial wraparound porch.
According to White house’s website, Kamala Harris will be the eighth vice president to reside in the Queen Anne-style home which features a refurbished living room, sitting room, garden room, two lounges, reception hall, kitchen and dining room.
Queen Anne style home was made the official home of the sitting vice president in 1974.
The home’s interior features a living room, sitting room, garden room, two lounges, reception hall, pantry kitchen and dining room. The home sits on 72-acres.
