BBNaija Season 7: Hermes emerges Head of House
Big Brother Naija housemate, Hermes has won the head of house, HOH for the second week of the BBNaija show of the ‘level up’ edition.
The Daily Page recalls that Eloswag emerged the first Head of House of the ‘level Up’ edition.
In the game, Hermes emerged the winner as he was the fastest housemate to carry a ball from one bucket to another located at the arena.
While Chichi, who performed poorly in the game, emerged as the tail of the house and will be punished for it.
Hermes counts basketball, public speaking and American flag football as some of his interests.
He has had the opportunity to perform some of his original dance pieces at reputable festivals in Lagos, Glasgow and Rotterdam, and has also appeared in music videos for afrobeats stars including Burna Boy, Davido and Ajebo Hustlers.
David Adeleke, the Afrobeats performer known as Davido, said he is Igbo by blood. The singer shot back at someone who warned him about being friendly with Igbo people, saying he could worry about betrayal as a Yoruba man.
The X user, Yakbel, said: “Davido just dey carry Ibo full body, until when dem betray am before e rest. Yoruba boy dey frolick with Ibos in 2025, they want your head and everything you have to belong to them. You can never satisfy Ibos. Ibos are not people you surround yourself with as a Yoruba man.”
Davido overlooked the criticism and just replied:
“Lol. My ancestors are from the Igbo people.”
Nigerian online streamer, Habeeb Hamzat popularly known as Peller has revealed he convinced his girlfriend, Jarvis, to turn down a ₦3 billion offer from Netflix since it required her to kiss someone during the show.
Peller mentioned this during a livestream with Peter Okoye from P-Square.
Peller said, “Netflix offered 3 billion Naira my girlfriend, Jarvis to do a kissing scene, but I turned it down.”
Peter asked, “Do you mean N3 million or N3 billion?”
Peller replied, “N3 billion! I know you might not believe me, but I have the record of the video call. I warned them never to contemplate such ever again. I love my baby. I don’t joke with my baby. She is my life.”
Peter added, “Always look out for her.”

Nigerian actor, Charles Okocha has paid a heartwarming visit to legendary actor Kanayo Kanayo ahead of his upcoming wedding.
Charles visited Kanayo to bring his wedding invitation to him in person. In the video shared by Kanayo, Okocha described him as a man who influenced his acting career greatly and, therefore called him his family and role model.
