I wasted my youthful age with him – Shatta Wale’s ex-girlfriend, Michy shares regret

Shatta Michy, ex-girlfriend of Dancehall musician Shatta Wale has revealed that she wasted her youthful age with the singer and she regretted it.

She disclosed this in an exclusive interview on United Showbiz show on UTV.

According to her, Michy who has a child from the relationship, said she could have achieved an enviable feat if she had focused on her schooling and abandoned Wale’s budding dream at a youthful age.

She added that after her breakup from the relationship she has learnt a lot of lessons.

She said:

“I look so good without Shatta Wale, because if I had been monitoring him the time I would [have] put in it wouldn’t have made me look this good because I have a lot to do.

“When we make mistakes in life we must move from them and make conscious efforts not to go back to them. I don’t think being with him was a mistake because we were making history without making [much] effort,” the ex-girlfriend said.

“I wouldn’t say it was a mistake, but a waste of my youth. I’m 27 now; not a child anymore. It was difficult breaking up with him. Everything was supposed to happen, but I have learnt my lessons with men, friends and [I] appreciate the presence of my son in my life.”

David Adeleke, the Afrobeats performer known as Davido, said he is Igbo by blood. The singer shot back at someone who warned him about being friendly with Igbo people, saying he could worry about betrayal as a Yoruba man.

The X user, Yakbel, said: “Davido just dey carry Ibo full body, until when dem betray am before e rest. Yoruba boy dey frolick with Ibos in 2025, they want your head and everything you have to belong to them. You can never satisfy Ibos. Ibos are not people you surround yourself with as a Yoruba man.”

Davido overlooked the criticism and just replied:
“Lol. My ancestors are from the Igbo people.”

Nigerian online streamer, Habeeb Hamzat popularly known as Peller has revealed he convinced his girlfriend, Jarvis, to turn down a ₦3 billion offer from Netflix since it required her to kiss someone during the show.

Peller mentioned this during a livestream with Peter Okoye from P-Square.

Peller said, “Netflix offered 3 billion Naira my girlfriend, Jarvis to do a kissing scene, but I turned it down.”

Peter asked, “Do you mean N3 million or N3 billion?”

Peller replied, “N3 billion! I know you might not believe me, but I have the record of the video call. I warned them never to contemplate such ever again. I love my baby. I don’t joke with my baby. She is my life.”

Peter added, “Always look out for her.”

Nigerian actor, Charles Okocha has paid a heartwarming visit to legendary actor Kanayo Kanayo ahead of his upcoming wedding.

Charles visited Kanayo to bring his wedding invitation to him in person. In the video shared by Kanayo, Okocha described him as a man who influenced his acting career greatly and, therefore called him his family and role model.
