A High Court sitting in Accra Ghana has on Wednesday, granted convicted actress Akuapem Poloo ¢80,000 bail with two sureties.
The court presided over by Justice Ruby Aryeetey said, Akuapem Poloo should deposit her passport with the registrar of the court and also report to the case investigator every two weeks.
The court also restricted her movement, adding that she can only travel with the permission of the court.
Recall that Akuapem Poloo was convicted and sentenced to a 90 days jail for posting explicit pictures of herself and her son on social media, according to The Nation reports
However, this generated a lot of mixed reactions from Ghanaians and Nigerians.
Actress Tonto Dikeh also commented on the sentencing of Akuapem Poloo.
On her Instagram page, Tonto Dikeh pleaded to the Ghanaian government to free the actress, adding that her post is not enough reason to jail her.
