Iniobong Umoren, the lady jobseeker who went missing after she went for a job interview in Uyo, Akwa-Ibom State, is dead.
The news of her demise was announced by her friend, with Twitter username @UmohUduak1.
On April 29 , @umohuduak1 had initiated the search for her missing friend.
According to her, Iniobong went for a job interview.
Giving an update, @umohuduak1 on Sunday morning, posted a video of her in tears as she confirmed the demise of her friend.
“The killed my friend and they buried my friend,” she tweeted.
Before her demide, concerned Nigerians on Twitter joined the hashtag #FindHinnyHumoren in order to locate the missing lady.
Confirming her demise, police said that they had arrested two people who are in connection of the crime, adding that the Anti-Kidnapping Squad for Akwa Ibom were on the case.
As per media reports, Umoren who left home for a job interview at Airport Road in the outskirts of Uyo on Thursday, April 29, 2021, was raped and murdered by one Uduak Frank Akpan, from Nung Ikot Obio, after he lured her on social media with a fake job offer.
