Ejimadu Uchechukwu, a 41 year old Nigerian man has been arrested along side his accomplice, a local woman for reportedly possessing cocaine. He was arrested at a department store in Bang Na district of Bangkok and 79 grammes of cocaine was found in his residence in Srinagarind area.
The secretary general of the office of Narcotics Control Board, Wichai Chaimongkol narrated that a postal service company was raided on Monday the 20th of June by the officials of the Narcotics Control Board, they seized 390 grammes of cocaine which was hidden in mascara tubes sent from Costa Rica to Pathum Thani province.
Wichai said the seizure led to the arrest of 27 year old Nuchanart Leela in Khlong Luang district of Pathum Thani. Leela is suspected to be the accomplice of Uchechukwu, who was hired to receive the narcotics on his behalf.
