Nollywood actor, Olarenwaju Oyiminka popularly known as Baba Ijesha has been granted bail in the sum of two million naira and two sureties.
Justice Oluwatoyin Taiwo of the Ikeja Special Offences Court on Thursday ordered that one of the sureties be a blood relative of the defendant who must resides in Lagos and must have tax clearance certificate of 3 years preceding today and a valid birth certificate and the other, a lawyer, whose certificate must be valid.
He has only 7 days to perfect the bail but as of today was released to Babatunde Ogala SAN and must write a letter of undertaking
The court has adjourned his trial to 26th, 27th and 28th of July for prosecution to open his case against the defendant.
Recall that Baba IIjesha is facing a six-count charge over molestation of a minor, the foster child of Princess Comedian.
