Actor Lateef Adedimeji becomes FCMB brand ambassador
Nigerian actor, Lateef Adedimeji has been officially unveiled as an FCMB brand ambassador.
This was made known to the public by the actor via his official Instagram page.
Announcing the good news on his Instagram page, Lateef Adedimeji wrote, “Hello family say hello to our new family @myfcmb ? MY BANK AND I ??
ALHAMDULILAH. AYINLA ANIGILAJE.”

In a recent interview with The Guardian Nigerian Newspaper, Lateef Adedimeji spoke his final words to young Nigerian youths who wants to be like him.
When asked what are your final words, especially to young people who are looking up to you?
He said, “I always hear people say, ‘I want to be like him’, and I tell people don’t be like me; it’s crazy. That’s the worst thing you can do to yourself. Do not be like me, if you see something interesting about me, you can pick it and add it to yourself, but don’t try to be like me. If I have a fifty and you have a hundred and you want to be like me, you have limited yourself to the fifty that I have and you have every right to be better than I am in every way to get to your hundred. So, pick from me, and go ahead and prosper.”
David Adeleke, the Afrobeats performer known as Davido, said he is Igbo by blood. The singer shot back at someone who warned him about being friendly with Igbo people, saying he could worry about betrayal as a Yoruba man.
The X user, Yakbel, said: “Davido just dey carry Ibo full body, until when dem betray am before e rest. Yoruba boy dey frolick with Ibos in 2025, they want your head and everything you have to belong to them. You can never satisfy Ibos. Ibos are not people you surround yourself with as a Yoruba man.”
Davido overlooked the criticism and just replied:
“Lol. My ancestors are from the Igbo people.”
Nigerian online streamer, Habeeb Hamzat popularly known as Peller has revealed he convinced his girlfriend, Jarvis, to turn down a ₦3 billion offer from Netflix since it required her to kiss someone during the show.
Peller mentioned this during a livestream with Peter Okoye from P-Square.
Peller said, “Netflix offered 3 billion Naira my girlfriend, Jarvis to do a kissing scene, but I turned it down.”
Peter asked, “Do you mean N3 million or N3 billion?”
Peller replied, “N3 billion! I know you might not believe me, but I have the record of the video call. I warned them never to contemplate such ever again. I love my baby. I don’t joke with my baby. She is my life.”
Peter added, “Always look out for her.”

Nigerian actor, Charles Okocha has paid a heartwarming visit to legendary actor Kanayo Kanayo ahead of his upcoming wedding.
Charles visited Kanayo to bring his wedding invitation to him in person. In the video shared by Kanayo, Okocha described him as a man who influenced his acting career greatly and, therefore called him his family and role model.
