Nigerian actor, Yul Edochie declared his candidacy for Nigeria president.
This means he will be a challenger to Bola Tinubu who is yet to declare his intention to contest any office in 2023, but there have been several reports that he might run fot the office of presidency.
The 39 years old actor took to his Instagram page on Friday where he declared his interest after DJ Big N asked for who is representing the youth in the Presidential election.
DJ Big N had asked, “14months to yet another election and the youths still haven’t come forward with a representative. If the older politicians are proactive and already have candidates.
“Then we need not complain with what we end up with. Wake up Nigeria. Wake up.”
Yul Edochie responded, “My dear brother @djbign I saw your post this morning about the youths not presenting a candidate yet.
“Thank you so much for your concern.
My name is Yul Edochie and I’m running for President of Nigeria in 2023.
I declared my interest months ago.
I humbly ask for your support.
“I believe that by posting me on your page, putting in a few words and supporting us through every other means at your disposal our movement will gain more momentum, and certainly many others will join.
“Victory awaits us. Thank you brother.
