The Senior Personal Assistant and son of the General Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God, Leke Adeboye, apologised for calling RCCG pastors. ‘goats’.
The statement, titled, ‘My sincere apology’, was released on his Instagram page on Thursday, April 7th, 2022.
Leke said that his comment was extreme, but he never intended it to be an insult to the church or the pastors.
He also said that any disciplinary action meted on him will be received wholeheartedly yet apologising sincerely.
He added that he would reflect on the consequences of what he has done during the period.
His statement read that;He wish to crave indulgence of the church to please forgive his extreme statement which he wished to emphasise was absolutely not intended to insult or malign.
He also wished to apologise sincerely to the entire leadership and Pastors of RCCG who might have been hurt by the statement, he concluded.
