Akeredolu’s wife distributes solar system to 300 rural houses
<h3><span style="font-size: 14pt;">Betty Anyanwu-Akeredolu, the wife of the Ondo State Governor, has launched the distribution of solar systems to rural women across the state&#8217;s 18 local government areas.</span></h3>

<p><span style="font-size: 14pt;">It was reported that 300 rural women benefited from the gesture, which was powered by the BeMore Empowered Initiative in collaboration with the First Lady&#8217;s office, and it was conceived during the 2021 edition of the BeMore Summer Bootcamp, where 400 schoolgirls were given the solar system to power their houses.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-size: 14pt;">Akeredolu said at the distribution of the devices on Wednesday at the Government House site in Alagbaka Akure, the state capital, that 300 ladies were handed out of a total of 1,000.</span></p>
