APC presidential primary: Bola Tinubu in front row leading with over 1000 votes.
The former Lagos State Governor, Bola Tinubu is currently in the front row leading the APC primary elections with over 1000 votes as voting counting continues.
The APC convention which started on Tuesday night is currently taking place at the Eagles Square in Abuja.
As of press time, Bola Tinubu has garnered over 1,000 votes while the former Rivers State Governor, Rotimi Amaechi followed with 217 votes and Vice President Yemi Osinbajo has 155 votes.
Recall that about seven aspirants including the Governor of Ekiti State, who doubles as Chairman of the Nigerian Governors Forum, Kayode Fayemi stepped down for Tinubu while three aspirants stepped down for Osinbajo.
As expected winner of the APC primaries will be the flag bearer and candidate for the 2023 presidential election.

David Adeleke, the Afrobeats performer known as Davido, said he is Igbo by blood. The singer shot back at someone who warned him about being friendly with Igbo people, saying he could worry about betrayal as a Yoruba man.
The X user, Yakbel, said: “Davido just dey carry Ibo full body, until when dem betray am before e rest. Yoruba boy dey frolick with Ibos in 2025, they want your head and everything you have to belong to them. You can never satisfy Ibos. Ibos are not people you surround yourself with as a Yoruba man.”
Davido overlooked the criticism and just replied:
“Lol. My ancestors are from the Igbo people.”
Nigerian online streamer, Habeeb Hamzat popularly known as Peller has revealed he convinced his girlfriend, Jarvis, to turn down a ₦3 billion offer from Netflix since it required her to kiss someone during the show.
Peller mentioned this during a livestream with Peter Okoye from P-Square.
Peller said, “Netflix offered 3 billion Naira my girlfriend, Jarvis to do a kissing scene, but I turned it down.”
Peter asked, “Do you mean N3 million or N3 billion?”
Peller replied, “N3 billion! I know you might not believe me, but I have the record of the video call. I warned them never to contemplate such ever again. I love my baby. I don’t joke with my baby. She is my life.”
Peter added, “Always look out for her.”

Nigerian actor, Charles Okocha has paid a heartwarming visit to legendary actor Kanayo Kanayo ahead of his upcoming wedding.
Charles visited Kanayo to bring his wedding invitation to him in person. In the video shared by Kanayo, Okocha described him as a man who influenced his acting career greatly and, therefore called him his family and role model.
