BBNaija: I’m no longer interested in Maria, says Pere
Pere, the ongoing contestant of Big Brother Naija ‘Shine Ya Eye’ edition has revealed that he is no longer interested in Maria.
This is coming after Maria rejected Pere’s advances towards her. Maria got upset following what Pere did with Beatrice during the Truth or Dare game.
Well, Pere opened up about his relationship with Maria while speaking with Beatrice on Thursday.
According to him, Maria who is Pere’s fellow wild card, is taking him for granted, adding that he is a “grown man” and has to move on with his life.
He said, “Maria is not my girlfriend. Fine, I was attracted to Maria.
“I’m quick to move on because I know what I want. I’m a grown man. I am 36 years old. 36 years no be beans.”
David Adeleke, the Afrobeats performer known as Davido, said he is Igbo by blood. The singer shot back at someone who warned him about being friendly with Igbo people, saying he could worry about betrayal as a Yoruba man.
The X user, Yakbel, said: “Davido just dey carry Ibo full body, until when dem betray am before e rest. Yoruba boy dey frolick with Ibos in 2025, they want your head and everything you have to belong to them. You can never satisfy Ibos. Ibos are not people you surround yourself with as a Yoruba man.”
Davido overlooked the criticism and just replied:
“Lol. My ancestors are from the Igbo people.”
Nigerian online streamer, Habeeb Hamzat popularly known as Peller has revealed he convinced his girlfriend, Jarvis, to turn down a ₦3 billion offer from Netflix since it required her to kiss someone during the show.
Peller mentioned this during a livestream with Peter Okoye from P-Square.
Peller said, “Netflix offered 3 billion Naira my girlfriend, Jarvis to do a kissing scene, but I turned it down.”
Peter asked, “Do you mean N3 million or N3 billion?”
Peller replied, “N3 billion! I know you might not believe me, but I have the record of the video call. I warned them never to contemplate such ever again. I love my baby. I don’t joke with my baby. She is my life.”
Peter added, “Always look out for her.”

Nigerian actor, Charles Okocha has paid a heartwarming visit to legendary actor Kanayo Kanayo ahead of his upcoming wedding.
Charles visited Kanayo to bring his wedding invitation to him in person. In the video shared by Kanayo, Okocha described him as a man who influenced his acting career greatly and, therefore called him his family and role model.
