The Federal Government has stated that Nigeria’s creative industry is now going places following the release of Blood sisters.
The Minister of Information and Culture, Lai Mohammed disclosed this at the world premiere of “Blood Sisters” series with the theme, ‘Red and Fugitive.’
Speaking at the launch of EbonyLife Studio and Netflix’s highly-anticipated original series “Blood Sisters”, Lai Mohammed said, “It’s not easy to put your movie, talk less of a series on Netflix…this is one of the clear indications that our creative industry is going places.”
Nollywood heavyweights such as Kate Henshaw, Ramsey Noah, Gabriel Afolayan, Nancy Isime, and others appeared in the suspenseful thriller, which premiered on Wednesday.
Blood Sisters follows the lives of best friends, Sarah (Ini Dima-Okojie), and Kemi (Nancy Isime) who become fugitives after Sarah’s abusive fiancé, Kola (Deyemi Okanlawon) disappears mysteriously just before the wedding ceremony
“Blood Sisters” features Nollywood heavyweights stars such as Kate Henshaw, Ramsey Noah, Gabriel Afolayan, Nancy Isime , Segun Arinze, Joke Silva and others.
