Bola Tinubu picks former Borno state gov, Kashim Shettima, as running mate
<h4><span style="font-size: 16px;">APC Presidential candidate, Bola Tinubu, has announced former governor of Borno State, Kashim Shettima, as his running mate for the coming 2023 general election.</span></h4>

<p><span style="font-size: 16px;">He made this known to the public during an interactive session with journalists after paying a visit to President Muhammadu Buhari in Daura, Katsina State on Sunday, July 10.</span></p>
<p data-add-marked="true"><span style="font-size: 16px;">Kashim Shettima, a staunch supporter of Tinubu, played a key role in his emergence as Presidential Candidate of the ruling party. </span></p>
<p data-add-marked="true"><span style="font-size: 16px;">Born on September 2, 1966, to the family of Sir Kashim Ibrahim, he is married to Nana Shettima, and they have three children: two females and a male.</span></p>
<p data-add-marked="true"><span style="font-size: 16px;">He was governor of Borno State from 2011 to 2019.</span></p>
