American rapper, Cardi B has won a $1.25M defamation suit against Latasha Kebe, a blogger, and YouTuber popularly known as Tasha K.
According to Billboard, the jury affirmed that Tasha K waged a “malicious campaign” to hurt Cardi B’s reputation.
The verdict came after a two-week trial in Atlanta where both women testified.
The jury found Kebe liable for defamation and two other forms of wrongdoing over her YouTube videos and other internet posts — which claimed that Cardi B had contracted herpes, among other rumors.
