CNN fires three employees for being unvaccinated
<p>News media company, CNN has fired three of their employees for entering New York headquarters without being vaccinated against COVID-19 last week.</p>

<p>This was contained in a memo sent to the CNN staff on the 5th of August and obtained by the Times</p>
<p>&#8220;In the past week, we have been made aware of three employees who were coming to the office unvaccinated&#8221;</p>
<p>&#8220;All three have been terminated. Let me be clear &#8211; we have zero tolerance policy on this&#8221;.</p>
<p>President Jeff Zucker told employees to vaccinate themselves, adding that the company has zero tolerance policy on such instances.</p>
<p>&#8220;You need to be vaccinated to come to the office. And you need to be vaccinated to work in the field, with other employees, regardless of whether you enter an office or not. Period&#8221;.</p>
<p>As of time of filing this report, the names of the unvaccinated employees who were sacked, are yet to be known.</p>
<p>Zucker also stressed that all its Washington employees will have to wear a nose mask in the office premises.</p>
