Daddy loves you – Yul Edochie to 16 years old daughter on matriculation
Nollywood actor, Yul Edochie has expressed his love for his daughter, Danielle as she got matriculated into university, today.
The movie star took to his Instagram page where he shared photos from her daughter’s matriculation event, picturing himself, and his wife, Mary, including the celebrant.
He wrote, “She couldn’t hold back her excitement. She didn’t know I would turn up because I was out of Lagos when we spoke two days ago.
“I had to put my work on hold and fly in for her matriculation. Family first. Big big achievement for my daughter.
“Congratulations @danielleyuledochie on your matriculation. Daddy is super proud of you.
“In our matriculation days (1998) they called us ‘jambites’. I don’t know what they call you guys now. Whatever it is, enjoy your day.”
In another Instagram post, Yul wrote, “Congratulations on your matriculation.
Big girl @danielleyuledochie Mummy @mayyuledochie and Daddy love you pleeeeeennnnty.”
David Adeleke, the Afrobeats performer known as Davido, said he is Igbo by blood. The singer shot back at someone who warned him about being friendly with Igbo people, saying he could worry about betrayal as a Yoruba man.
The X user, Yakbel, said: “Davido just dey carry Ibo full body, until when dem betray am before e rest. Yoruba boy dey frolick with Ibos in 2025, they want your head and everything you have to belong to them. You can never satisfy Ibos. Ibos are not people you surround yourself with as a Yoruba man.”
Davido overlooked the criticism and just replied:
“Lol. My ancestors are from the Igbo people.”
Nigerian online streamer, Habeeb Hamzat popularly known as Peller has revealed he convinced his girlfriend, Jarvis, to turn down a ₦3 billion offer from Netflix since it required her to kiss someone during the show.
Peller mentioned this during a livestream with Peter Okoye from P-Square.
Peller said, “Netflix offered 3 billion Naira my girlfriend, Jarvis to do a kissing scene, but I turned it down.”
Peter asked, “Do you mean N3 million or N3 billion?”
Peller replied, “N3 billion! I know you might not believe me, but I have the record of the video call. I warned them never to contemplate such ever again. I love my baby. I don’t joke with my baby. She is my life.”
Peter added, “Always look out for her.”

Nigerian actor, Charles Okocha has paid a heartwarming visit to legendary actor Kanayo Kanayo ahead of his upcoming wedding.
Charles visited Kanayo to bring his wedding invitation to him in person. In the video shared by Kanayo, Okocha described him as a man who influenced his acting career greatly and, therefore called him his family and role model.
