Nigerian actor, Uche Maduagwu has taken to social media to call out the Headies award over Portable’s 2022 Headies disqualification.
THE DAILY PAGE recalls that controversial artiste was disqualified by Headies after he claimed affliction with the dreaded robbery gang known as ‘1 Million boys’.
Reacting to his disqualification, Portable posted a video to brag about his worth rather than be remorseful.
He wrote, “I gat people, I know people, o got fans, I got 1m fans, Akoi competition, no ripping, ema fo owo ra award. What belong to me wouldn’t pass me by God’s grace. I got fans, my fans will fight and vote for me”.
In another post, he wrote, “I got talent I got God I got money I got fame I got wife I got children. God bless my family, I got motor, I got house, I don’t regret my actions”.
However, it seems some celebrities don’t support Headies action as Nollywood actor Uche Maduagwu called out Headies.
According to him, the disqualification of Portable from Headies is unprofessional and playing the god.
He wrote, “This is wrong disqualifying Portable for music award Na buffoonish PR marketing of you Na award ceremony.
“Everyone makes mistakes, Portable is young and still has a lot to learn as he grows. But denying him a chance to compete with others for an award he deserves based on his superb talent in music is unprofessional and playing the god.”
