Dowen college has released an official press statement to express sympathy for Slyvester Oromoni’s family.
The statement reads below:
“We commiserate with the Oromoni family, and the students of Dowen college who has lost a friend and a fellow student
This is a traumatic”
In the statement they explained that they are working with the police in the investigation to get to the bottom of the incident that resulted in the death of twelve (12) year old Slyvester Oromoni Jr on the November 30, 2021.
Recall that Sylvester Oromoni died after some students of Dowen College, tortured him to death for refusing to join a secret cult group.
However, a lot of Nigerians including celebrities are demanding justice for the 12 years old boy who died. For this reason, one of the families of the deceased filed a petition for change.org, titled ‘Justice for Sylvester.’
As of the time of filing this report, over 78,844 signed petitions to get justice for Sylvester. May his soul rest in perfect peace.
