Nigerian singer and songwriter, Timi Dakolo has taken to social media to state that fame doesn’t mean wealth.
The father of three took to his verified Twitter handle where he revealed that anyone can be very famous and still be broke.
He tweeted, “You can be really famous, I mean really really famous and still be broke.”

As expected, some of his colleagues took to his post comment section and dropped their opinion on his claim, “Fame doesn’t mean wealth.”
@abangmercy wrote, “Something I learned while working with the late Sadiq Daba. He said “Mercy are you sure you want to be a TV Journalist? You will be broke and famous and being broke is not pretty,” – he made me rethink the entrepreneurial life I’ve navigated into over the years. God rest his soul.”
@Segalink wrote, “Being broke is as temporary as being hungry. Provided you don’t slip into the chasm of Poverty, which is a biologically possible mind disease.
Money is the lowest form of wealth and not having money is no excuse for you not to manage your relationships and build a niche for yourself.
Money run errands for the disciplined in purpose. Follow your heart & focus on what makes your heart sing and see how you attract money and more.”
