This was disclosed by the Minister of Information and Culture, Lai Mohammed after the week’s virtual Federal Executive Council (FEC) meeting presided over by Vice President Yemi Osinbajo (SAN) at the State House, Abuja.

Lai Mohammed stressed that Twitter was suspended because the platform support some sessionist who planned to destabilize the country and promote disunity.

However, he revealed that the micro-blogging platform has agreed to the conditions given to the platform to operate in the country.

Lai Mohammed also revealed that Twitter will open its office in Nigeria by year, 2022.
