Funke Akindele donates N100k each to 20 Celestial churches
Nigerian actress, Funke Akindele has donated N100,000 each to 20 Celestial churches to mark Juvenile harvest.
The producer of the 3 biggest Nollywood blockbusters announced on her Instagram on Sunday morning that churches should provide their verified account number under the comment section of her post.
As of the time of filing this report, over 100 churches responded and gave their church account number in the comment section of her post.
Funke Akindele wrote, “It’s Juvenile harvest 2024!!!, drop a celestial account detail we can credit with 100k each for the children. We will credit 20 Celestial churches. May the good Lord abide with our children. Happy Juvenile harvest season.”
As expected fans and her colleagues in the entertainment industry took to her Instagram to commend her kind gesture. Her post garnerd over 4000 comments.

David Adeleke, the Afrobeats performer known as Davido, said he is Igbo by blood. The singer shot back at someone who warned him about being friendly with Igbo people, saying he could worry about betrayal as a Yoruba man.
The X user, Yakbel, said: “Davido just dey carry Ibo full body, until when dem betray am before e rest. Nigerian online streamer, Habeeb Hamzat popularly known as Peller has revealed he convinced his girlfriend, Jarvis, to turn down a ₦3 billion offer from Netflix since it required her to kiss someone during the show.
Peller mentioned this during a livestream with Peter Okoye from P-Square.
Peller said, “Netflix offered 3 billion Naira my girlfriend, Jarvis to do a kissing scene, but I turned it down.”
Peter asked, “Do you mean N3 million or N3 billion?”
Peller replied, “N3 billion! I know you might not believe me, but I have the record of the video call. I warned them never to contemplate such ever again. I love my baby. I don’t joke with my baby. She is my life.”
Peter added, “Always look out for her.”

Nigerian actor, Charles Okocha has paid a heartwarming visit to legendary actor Kanayo Kanayo ahead of his upcoming wedding.
Charles visited Kanayo to bring his wedding invitation to him in person. In the video shared by Kanayo, Okocha described him as a man who influenced his acting career greatly and, therefore called him his family and role model.
