The Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) had appointed Augustine Eguavoen as the Super Eagle’s interim coach.

As the preparations for the 33rd Africa Cup of Nations which will be held in Cameroon from 9th of January to 6th of February, 2022 is in full blast, Augustine Eguavoen will lead the team until a permanent Head Coach is appointed.
