Hadiza, Shehu Shagari’s wife, dies of COVID-19 complications
<p>Hadiza Shagari, wife to the former president of the republic of Nigeria, Sheu Shagari died at the age of eighty (80) after battling with COVID-19 complications.</p>

<p>The news of her demise was announced by Muhammad Bala Shagari in a statement issued on behalf of the family on Thursday.</p>
<p>In the statement, Hadiza died in the early hours of today, 12th August 2021, at about 3.00am, after battling COVID-19 at the Gwagwalada Isolation Centre in Abuja.</p>
<p>And her Jana’iza (Funeral Prayer) will take place today, at 4.00pm, immediately after Asr prayer, at the National Mosque in Abuja.</p>
