Hijab: Ten Kwara missionary schools resume their classes Monday, April 12
<h3>10 missionary schools that were shutdown by the kwara state government over the recent hijab controversy, are to resume on Monday, April 12, 2021, for the 2020/2021 third term academic session.</h3>
<p>This was disclosed by states Permanent Secretary, Ministry of Education and Human Capital Development, Mrs Mary Kemi Adeosun, in a statement released on Sunday.</p>
<p>The statement reads in part below&#8230;</p>
<p>“This is part of the state government’s efforts to bring the students up to speed in whatever they may have missed when their schools were shut.</p>
<p>“This is especially necessary for students preparing for external examinations.&#8221;</p>
<p>The state government also asked teachers to resume activities with immediate effect.</p>
