IGP Usman Alkali Baba, the Inspector General of Police, has on Thursday ordered the review of the allegation against the Deputy Commissioner of Police, Abba Kyari by the Federal Bureau of Investigation, FBI.
Hushpuppi, had earlier pleaded guilty to charges against him, making him risks jail term of 20 years after pleading guilty to fraud.
This is coming after Hushpuppi whose name is Ramon Abass, explained how he bribed Abba Kyari to arrest one of his associates. Later on Thursday afternoon, Abba Kyari denied the allegations.
However, the IGP ordered the review of the allegations against Abba Kyari, adding that it was in line with the commitement of the Nigeria Police Force to ensure justice and professionalism.
