JUST IN: Court grants Akuapem Poloo ¢80k bail

<p>A High Court sitting in Accra Ghana has on Wednesday&comma; granted convicted actress <strong>Akuapem Poloo<&sol;strong> ¢80&comma;000 bail with two sureties&period;<&sol;p>&NewLine;<p>The court presided over by Justice Ruby Aryeetey said&comma; <strong>Akuapem Poloo<&sol;strong> should deposit her passport with the registrar of the court and also report to the case investigator every two weeks&period;<&sol;p>&NewLine;<p>The court also restricted her movement&comma; adding that she can only travel with the permission of the court&period;<&sol;p>&NewLine;<p>Recall that <strong>Akuapem Poloo<&sol;strong> was convicted and sentenced to a 90 days jail for posting explicit pictures of herself and her son on social media&comma; according to <a href&equals;"https&colon;&sol;&sol;www&period;google&period;com&sol;amp&sol;s&sol;thenationonlineng&period;net&sol;ghanaian-actress-jailed-over-nude-photos-with-son&sol;amp&sol;">The Nation<&sol;a> reports<&sol;p>&NewLine;<p>However&comma; this generated a lot of mixed reactions from Ghanaians and Nigerians&period;<&sol;p>&NewLine;<p>Actress Tonto Dikeh also commented on the sentencing of Akuapem Poloo&period;<&sol;p>&NewLine;<p>On her Instagram page&comma; Tonto Dikeh pleaded to the Ghanaian government to free the actress&comma; adding that her post is not enough reason to jail her&period;<&sol;p>&NewLine;
