JUST IN: Kwara govt sacks 2414 teachers, gives reason

<p><img class&equals;"aligncenter size-full wp-image-1378" src&equals;"https&colon;&sol;&sol;thedailypage&period;ng&sol;wp-content&sol;uploads&sol;2020&sol;12&sol;images-2020-12-26T130218&period;821&period;jpeg" alt&equals;"" width&equals;"764" height&equals;"401" &sol;><&sol;p>&NewLine;<p><strong>Kwara State Governor&comma; AbdulRaham AbdulRazaq has sacked 2414 teachers who were employed during the adminstration of the former governor&comma; Abdulfathai Ahmed&period;<&sol;strong><&sol;p>&NewLine;<p>AbdulRaham explained that the 2414 teachers employed by the State Universal Basic Education Board&lpar;KWSUBEB&rpar; are not qualified for the job as they don&&num;8217&semi;t have the required certificate to teach&period;<&sol;p>&NewLine;<p>In a press released by the press secretary of ministry of Education &amp&semi; Human Capital Development titled Kwara Govt takes stand on 2019 SUBEB workers&comma; revealed that the state government has decided to start new employment process all over again in January 2021&period;<&sol;p>&NewLine;<p>The state government added that eligible 2414 person will be able to apply through the new application portal&comma; noting that every applicant will go through rigorous screenings&period;<&sol;p>&NewLine;<p>Also&comma; Governor AbdulRaham AbdulRazaq ordered the salaries of 594 person withheld since June 2020 to be paid immediately&period;<&sol;p>&NewLine;
