The Sultan of Sokoto, Sa’ad Abubakar, has announced that Ramadan will begin on Tuesday, April 13.
This was announced in a live broadcast on Monday by Abubakar after he confirmed the sighting of the moon.
He urged every Muslims to observe social distancing and abide by the COVID protocol during the Ramadan period.
