JUST IN: Senate confirms Bawa as EFCC Chairman

<p>The Nigerian Senate has on Wednesday confirmed Abdulrasheed Bawa as the Chairman of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC).</p>
<p>The 40-year-old Certified Anti-Money Laundering Specialist was confirmed after being grilled during Senate plenary at the Upper Chamber of the National Assembly today February 24.</p>
<p>During plenary, the law makers asked if he is ready to take up the job, given his age.</p>
<p>Bawa, in his response, said he would use his experience to handle the job since he has joined the anti graft agency in 2014.</p>
<p>Now, Bawa becomes the youngest person ever to serve as chairman of the anti-corruption agency</p>
