Kano Hisbah bans use of mannequins for display of clothes by tailors and boutique owners
<p>The Hisbah agency has imposed ban on use of mannequins to display clothes by tailors, supermarkets and boutique owners in Kano state.</p>

<p>According to the agency, mannequins violates Islamic provisions as it is responsible for immoral thoughts among some members of the public.</p>
<p>This new directive was issued by Commander of the state Hisbah board, Sheikh Aroun ibn Sina, on wednesday, June 30th.</p>
<p>He added that the agency would embark on raiding of those places to remove them, describing the use of the mannequins for advert purposes as idolatery.</p>
<p>He said that the men of Hisbah agency have divided Kano into five areas for the monitoring and implementation of the ban across the state.</p>

If they can create their own laws in nigeria, the southeast too needs to state creating laws too.
