Lagos records 654 new COVID-19 cases in 24 hours

<p>Lagos State has recorded a spike in COVID-19 cases with 654 in the last 24 hours, increasing the state’s infection figures to 31,975.</p>
<p>The Nigeria Centre For Disease Control (NCDC) recorded 1204 new coronavirus infections in the country.</p>
<p>This was made known to the public by the NCDC via its verified twitter handle on Monday night, December 4th, 2021.</p>
<p>According to the public health agency, Lagos recorded the highest number of infections for the day, with 654 cases, followed by FCT, Plateau, and Kaduna states which reported 200, 60, and 54 cases, respectively.</p>
<p>The other states affected are Kano, with 40 new infections, Rivers-30, Edo-28, Nasarawa-25, Kebbi-19, Bauchi-18, Oyo-13, Akwa Ibom-12, Bayelsa-11, Ogun-11, Delta-9, Abia-8, Benue-5, Imo-3, Borno-2, Sokoto-1, Osun-1.</p>
<p>Till date, 91,351 cases had been confirmed, 75,699 discharged, and 1,318 deaths recorded in Nigeria so far.</p>
