Man United star, Wan-Bissaka banned from driving

Right-back for Manchester United Aaron Wan-Bissaka has been given a six-month driving restriction after pleading guilty to driving offenses.

The 24-year-old was also fined £31,500 after admitting earlier this year to driving while disqualified and without insurance after being pulled over by police on June 23 in Manchester.

On Monday, Wan-Bissaka also pleaded guilty to failing to submit driver information for two speeding offenses in Bradford, Yorkshire, in September 2020.

The England international’s attorneys described him as being in a “condition of complete ignorance,” with letters detailing the offenses being delivered to his previous Croydon residence.

His refusal to respond to the letters resulted in a six-month ban issued at Leeds Magistrates Court, despite the fact that the United full-back was uninformed of the proceedings.

Wan-court Bissaka’s hearing was five days before his Lamborghini Urus was pulled over on the A34 by police.

When he was stopped on the A34, he was cordial and respectful to the officers, and he indicated to them that he had no notion he was disqualified, according to Shaun Draycott, who was defending Wan-Bissaka.

Draycott also stated that plans were being made for the player’s agent to pay a visit to his residence to ensure that his affairs were in order following his move to United in 2019.
