Man who raped and killed job seeker, Iniubong Umoren sentenced to die by hanging
<h4><span style="font-size: 16px;">The man named Uduak Frank Akpan has been sentenced to death by hanging by the Akwa Ibom State high court in Uyo.</span></h4>

<p><span style="font-size: 16px;">THE DAILY PAGE recalls that Uduak Frank Akpah raped and killed Umoren, a graduate of Philosophy, University of Uyo, in April 2021 by Akpan. </span></p>
<p><span style="font-size: 16px;">It was gathered that the deceased, Iniubong Umoren was job hunting while awaiting mobilization for the compulsory National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) scheme when she encountered Akpan on social media.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-size: 16px;">Afterward, Uduak Frank Akpan claimed had feigned a job for her. Unfortunately, getting to his apartment, Akpan raped her and then killed Iniubong Umoren.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-size: 16px;">In a new development, in two hours, judgment by the presiding Judge, Bassey Nkanang, the convict was found guilty of rape and murder and sentenced to be hung on the neck till he dies.</span></p>
