Nigerian singer, Simisola Kosoko popularly known as Simi has revealed that a lot of parents don’t pay attention to their kids.
She disclosed this on Tuesday via her Instagram page story while reacting to the death of a 12 years old student of Dowen College, Sylvester Oromoni.
Recall that Sylvester was tortured to death by some group of students for refusing to join a cult group.
However, the school authorities debunked the claims, saying the boy died as a result of a leg injury sustained while playing football.
Given an update, the men of Lagos State Police revealed on Tuesday that three of five Dowen College students accused of beating Sylvester have been arrested.
As of the time of filing this report, the school has been sealed by the Lagos State Ministry of Education, pending the outcome of an investigation into the matter.
Reacting to the development, the mother of one advised parents against enrolling their kids who are of a sensitive age group, into boarding school.
According to her, children in Daycare, Primary Schools, might have been traumatized by their teachers and parents need to pay rapt attention to them.
