Mercy Aigbe, Bukunmi, others pen support message to Itele after he linked up with his abandoned kids
Nollywood actress, Mercy Aigbe has penned support message to actor Itele after he linked up with his abandoned children in Lagos.
This is coming after a popular controversial blogger on Instagram, Gistlover accused Itele of abandoning his four children with his wife from his previous marriage.
However, the actor admitted he abandoned his kids from previous and penned an apology note, vowing to the world that he would now take care of his children.
He wrote: “The past few days has been been Roller coster of Emotions for me , First and Foremost I will like to thank those who reached out concerning this issue , thank you so much, God bless Everyone.
“Recently I have been in and out of the hospital but I choose not to post or say anything about it on my page so I don’t bother anyone trusting God for good health until few days ago when the issue of my Ex wife and kids made its way to the internet,
“I felt so bad and typed out of anger which I regret bitterly, Nobody is perfect and I will want to apologize openly to my fans, family and friends who felt disappointed in my write up, I take back those words and I promise going forward I will do BETTER.
“I Love my kids and and I promise to do the needful henceforth, I am apologizing to the general public to please forgive my earlier outburst and disregard it, To my Fans worldwide , God bless everyone and to those who reached out too, I appreciate it a lot, Thank you.”
Today, Actor Itele share recent makeover of his four children as he takes them for shopping.
Reacting to his post, Mercy Aigbe and other celebrities commented on Itele’s post.
David Adeleke, the Afrobeats performer known as Davido, said he is Igbo by blood. The singer shot back at someone who warned him about being friendly with Igbo people, saying he could worry about betrayal as a Yoruba man.
The X user, Yakbel, said: “Davido just dey carry Ibo full body, until when dem betray am before e rest. Yoruba boy dey frolick with Ibos in 2025, they want your head and everything you have to belong to them. You can never satisfy Ibos. Ibos are not people you surround yourself with as a Yoruba man.”
Davido overlooked the criticism and just replied:
“Lol. My ancestors are from the Igbo people.”
Nigerian online streamer, Habeeb Hamzat popularly known as Peller has revealed he convinced his girlfriend, Jarvis, to turn down a ₦3 billion offer from Netflix since it required her to kiss someone during the show.
Peller mentioned this during a livestream with Peter Okoye from P-Square.
Peller said, “Netflix offered 3 billion Naira my girlfriend, Jarvis to do a kissing scene, but I turned it down.”
Peter asked, “Do you mean N3 million or N3 billion?”
Peller replied, “N3 billion! I know you might not believe me, but I have the record of the video call. I warned them never to contemplate such ever again. I love my baby. I don’t joke with my baby. She is my life.”
Peter added, “Always look out for her.”

Nigerian actor, Charles Okocha has paid a heartwarming visit to legendary actor Kanayo Kanayo ahead of his upcoming wedding.
Charles visited Kanayo to bring his wedding invitation to him in person. In the video shared by Kanayo, Okocha described him as a man who influenced his acting career greatly and, therefore called him his family and role model.
