‘My backbone and prayer warrior’, Destiny Etiko celebrates her mum on mother’s day
Nigerian actress, Destiny Etiko has revealed that her mum is her backbone and prayer warrior on the occasion of mother’s Day celebration.
The movie star took to her Instagram page where she shared stunning photos with of herself and her Mum.
In the photos, Destiny Etiko hugged her mum tightly as she showered her some love.
Taking to her Instagram page, she wrote, “Happy Mother’s Day to my love ❤️
The precious woman that birthed me
The mother of a queen ?. My prayer warrior
My backbone. My strength
.The joy. My happiness
A strong and a virtuous woman ?
I love so much mummy and I pray that God almighty keeps u alive for me to enjoy all I have to offer ❤️

David Adeleke, the Afrobeats performer known as Davido, said he is Igbo by blood. The singer shot back at someone who warned him about being friendly with Igbo people, saying he could worry about betrayal as a Yoruba man.
The X user, Yakbel, said: “Davido just dey carry Ibo full body, until when dem betray am before e rest. Yoruba boy dey frolick with Ibos in 2025, they want your head and everything you have to belong to them. You can never satisfy Ibos. Ibos are not people you surround yourself with as a Yoruba man.”
Davido overlooked the criticism and just replied:
“Lol. My ancestors are from the Igbo people.”
Nigerian online streamer, Habeeb Hamzat popularly known as Peller has revealed he convinced his girlfriend, Jarvis, to turn down a ₦3 billion offer from Netflix since it required her to kiss someone during the show.
Peller mentioned this during a livestream with Peter Okoye from P-Square.
Peller said, “Netflix offered 3 billion Naira my girlfriend, Jarvis to do a kissing scene, but I turned it down.”
Peter asked, “Do you mean N3 million or N3 billion?”
Peller replied, “N3 billion! I know you might not believe me, but I have the record of the video call. I warned them never to contemplate such ever again. I love my baby. I don’t joke with my baby. She is my life.”
Peter added, “Always look out for her.”

Nigerian actor, Charles Okocha has paid a heartwarming visit to legendary actor Kanayo Kanayo ahead of his upcoming wedding.
Charles visited Kanayo to bring his wedding invitation to him in person. In the video shared by Kanayo, Okocha described him as a man who influenced his acting career greatly and, therefore called him his family and role model.
