My husband and I are dog parents – Nse Ikpe-Etim speaks on her inability to bear children
Nollywood actress, Nse Ikpe-Etim has revealed that she and her husband are dog parents for inability to bear children.
According to her, she felt inadequate after she found out that she cannot bear children.
The 47- year- old actress revealed this in an exclusive chat with Chude Jideonwo.
According to her, she had to undergo hysterectomy (removal of the uterus) to have a life again after she was diagnosed with adenomyosis.
When asked if she was ashamed about not being able to have kids of her own, Nse Ikpe-Etim said: “Finding out I couldn’t have children didn’t make me feel ashamed. I felt inadequate.
“I felt inadequate as a woman but not ashamed, which was because of how I was brought up.
“Where I’m from we don’t tie shame to ourselves. Where I was brought up, we live through life fully.”
When asked if she is open to adoption, Nse said: “You never say never, but right now, my husband and I are just dog parents.
“People should be allowed to live, my husband and I are okay right now.”
David Adeleke, the Afrobeats performer known as Davido, said he is Igbo by blood. The singer shot back at someone who warned him about being friendly with Igbo people, saying he could worry about betrayal as a Yoruba man.
The X user, Yakbel, said: “Davido just dey carry Ibo full body, until when dem betray am before e rest. Yoruba boy dey frolick with Ibos in 2025, they want your head and everything you have to belong to them. You can never satisfy Ibos. Ibos are not people you surround yourself with as a Yoruba man.”
Davido overlooked the criticism and just replied:
“Lol. My ancestors are from the Igbo people.”
Nigerian online streamer, Habeeb Hamzat popularly known as Peller has revealed he convinced his girlfriend, Jarvis, to turn down a ₦3 billion offer from Netflix since it required her to kiss someone during the show.
Peller mentioned this during a livestream with Peter Okoye from P-Square.
Peller said, “Netflix offered 3 billion Naira my girlfriend, Jarvis to do a kissing scene, but I turned it down.”
Peter asked, “Do you mean N3 million or N3 billion?”
Peller replied, “N3 billion! I know you might not believe me, but I have the record of the video call. I warned them never to contemplate such ever again. I love my baby. I don’t joke with my baby. She is my life.”
Peter added, “Always look out for her.”

Nigerian actor, Charles Okocha has paid a heartwarming visit to legendary actor Kanayo Kanayo ahead of his upcoming wedding.
