Aliko Dangote, the chairman and CEO of Dangote group says he and his mum watched his brother died in their presence.
He disclosed this when the former Governor of Lagos state and National Leader of All Progressive Congress, Bola Tinubu paid him and his family a condolence visit in Kano.
Speaking on his brother’s death, he expressed that it was tormenting for him and his mother to see his brother die.
The News Agency of Nigeria quoted Aliko saying ,”It is a very tough time for us, it has been very trying especially for myself.
“Having a brother like him, once you lose him it is really very painful. He died in front of me, our mother and all his children.
The most painful thing is when you are told your brother will pass on in about an hour and you stand by watching as the machine was going down until it stopped working. It was very tormenting “
Recall that Sani Dangote, vice-president of Dangote group, died of Colon cancer at the age of 61, last Sunday, in a hospital in Miami, United States of America.
