The 64-year-old father of singer-rapper Nicki Minaj has died after being struck by a car in New York.
Robert Maraj, 64, had been walking along a road in Long Island on Friday evening when he was hit by the car, before the car continued on its journey, Nassau County police have said.
Mr Maraj was taken to hospital, where he died on Saturday.
Police have appealed for witnesses to the crash in order identify the responsible party.
However, Nicki Minaj has not made any public statement about her father’s death.
